Personal Info
Arrived from Wales UK in 1976.
Coaching Certification
- CSA, National B.Level 4 Sports Science.
- Attended various international training courses (Europe/USA).
Playing career in Canada
- Played for Saskatoon United at club level throughout career, representing Saskatchewan numerous times at CSA Club Nationals.
- Played for Saskatchewan in the CSA All star league and various competitions under coach Andy Sharpe for a number of years.
Coaching Involvements (Saskatoon Youth Soccer)
- Served as a member on the SYS board.
- Currently serving as a member on the SYS technical, as a zone TD.
- One of the founding members of Saskatoon Hollandia.
- One of the founding members of the first female club in Saskatoon, namely Saskatoon Eagles.
- The first and current Technical director of Zone 1 Saskatoon United Soccer Club -- Looking after the development and delivering of age appropriate coaching to the players and coaching development in the club.
- Coached youth teams in Saskatoon for many years, and have been very fortunate to attend our Canadian club championships on a number of occasions.
- Coached in the local High school league.
- Guest presenter at various High School Athletic functions
- Worked with the Inner city children at various stages over the years.
- Volunteer at club and national competitions.
Saskatoon & District Senior Soccer League
- Coached both male and female teams in local league and also Club Nationals.
- Currently delivering coaching sessions for adults who are new to the game of soccer.
Saskatchewan Soccer Association
- Appointed head coach for both male and female Saskatchewan All star teams -- ages from U11 development to Canada Games ages)
- Team tours to participate in both Europe and USAs ODP competitions as well as the USA college classic in California.
- SSA player development camps.Appointed as Head coach for Western & Canada games teams both male and female for two terms each.
- SSA Staff instructor.
Canadian Soccer Association
- Served as assistant coach of the Canada West development team.
- CSA Regional Training Center coach, NTC involvement.
- CSA Instructor, delivering over the past 10 years the old level 1, 2 & 3 certification courses to coaches
- Presently delivering the CSA's new Children/Youth/Senior/Pre-Test & B Part 1 Coaching and evaluation courses, to our province as well as helping to develop Nunavit and in particular the North West Territories in their player and coaching development systems.
Indigenous Involvement
- Past and present, delivered player camps and coaching certification clinics to many of our native people on near and distant parts of our province and the Territories.
- Soccer resource person at Indigenous summer games.
- This year was named Saskatchewan Soccer's volunteer of the year.
