2010-11 Indoor Season Information

Registration is available online at www.susc.ca or in person.

In person registration:
WHEN: September 1st and 2nd, 2010
WHERE: St. Peter Elementary School (in the computer lab) located at 202 Sumner Crescent
TIMES: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
COST: $ 400.00 plus a MANDATORY EQUIPMENT DEPOSIT in the form of a separate cheque in the amount of $50.00 dated March 31st, 2011. If players choose to tryout out for 8v8 there is a $75.00 fee. This will be refunded if the player does not make the required team.

Any late registrations will be accepted on a case by case basis only. A late registration fee of $40.00 will be added to those accepted.

DETAILS
SUSC is implementing a new registration system this year. All registrations need to be processed online. This may be done at either registration night or online before September 8th, 2010. In order to register you will need a valid email address. For those who do not have access to an email address please speak with any board member prior to registering for assistance.

AGE GROUPINGS

  • Under 6 -- Born during or after 2005 ~ Register with a Community Association
  • Under 8 -- Born 2003 & 2004 ~ Register with a Community Association
  • Under 10 -- Born 2001 & 2002 ~ Register with a Community Association
  • Under 12 -- Born 1999 & 2000 ~ Register with your Zone of Residence
  • Under 14 -- Born 1997 & 1998 ~ Register with your Zone of Residence
  • Under 16 -- Born 1995 & 1996 ~ Register with your Zone of Residence
  • Under 18 -- Born 1992* & 1993 & 1994 ~ Register with SYS
  • Adult Players -- Born before or during 1992 or 1991 ~ Register with Saskatoon Adult Soccer
    • Players born in 1992 may register on a youth U18 team but they are not eligible for provincials.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Saskatoon KidSport provides financial assistance for youth from low-income families to help them to participate in sport. Children between the ages of 6-18, who are lacking the money to participate in sport, are eligible for assistance through KidSport. Players also have the option of the Canadian Tire JumpStart program. For more information on that program, please ask at registration night about the details. Both KidSport and JumpStart funding will be needed to completely cover the costs of registration.

Indoor Season Length

Please refer to the league start dates and tentative days of play as seen below for your age group.

  • Youth U12 - U16: Starts after Thanksgiving October 12 to late-March
  • Youth U16 Premier & all U18 Turf Leagues: Starts 1st or 2nd week of November to late-March
  • Youth U18 Coed Boarded: Starts 1st or 2nd week of November to late-January / early-February
